Project Overview
CultureCon 2025 represented a watershed moment in the world of cultural festivals and creative entrepreneurship. Positioned as the premier gathering for Black and brown creatives, CultureCon isn’t just a conference—it’s a vibrant homecoming that fuses inspiration, education, and empowerment on a grand stage. This year, CultureCon thematically shot for the stars, with “Take Space: The New Frontier” as its unifying concept, inviting creative entrepreneurs and cultural influencers to boldly reimagine their presence, voice, and impact. The event took place in Brooklyn’s Duggal Greenhouse, drawing 10,000+ attendees for days packed with immersive activations, keynotes, job fairs, and digital-first brand experiences.
In this context, my role as a branding and motion design contributor focused on shaping and realizing CultureCon’s 2025 digital presence. I was part of a multidisciplinary creative team, specializing in the integration of an unapologetically space-inspired visual universe. Our deliverables spanned digital branding and motion graphics, web UI/UX, dynamic social media assets, and experiential activations. The toolkit—and creative canvas—were ambitious: we leveraged Figma for digital design and prototyping, Blender for 3D models and environments, After Effects for kinetic motion sequences, and Unreal Engine for real-time or interactive visualizations.
